LA BOBA bags are made to stay with you for years. However, it is important to take proper care the leather they are made of.
Below we share with you some useful tips that will make our products please the eye for a long time.
Dedicated products will be necessary for the care process. These include care balms or creams for leather, delicate cloths, e.g. made of microfiber or cotton, and special brushes made of natural bristles. Before you start, we recommend that you test the care products on a small, inconspicuous area. If they don't leave any marks/discoloration, you can proceed.
STEP 1 - REMOVE THE DIRT
In case of heavier dirt, start by gently wiping the dirty area with a damp cloth or towel.
STEP 2 - BALM AND POLISH
The next step will be to apply a bit of leather care balm or cream and use a dry cloth to rub it into the leather. When all the cream or balm is gone, polish the bag with a special brush or a soft cloth. The "embalming" and polishing treatment should be repeated regularly to ensure that your bag looks beautiful for many seasons :)
STEP 3 - CLEANING THE INTERIOR
It's also a good idea to clean the interior of the bag from time to time. Here you can use a damp cloth and gently wipe the interior and then let it naturally dry.
STORAGE
Store the bag in a dry place, away from exposure to sunlight and high temperatures. This may destroy its original color and shape.
We recommend to keep LA BOBA bags flat in dedicated fabric dust bags.
